I had heard mixed messages about the trails behind our house: everyone said they are beautiful, but some people also said that they connect with a regional park (meaning a fee to enter). So I continued hiking in other areas instead.
The other day, I finally decided to poke around back there. The morning was drizzly, and the hike was gorgeous. Best of all, we found plenty of trails not associated with the park. Score!
