We've finished the first half of Travis' two-week tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy recovery.
Following his surgery, he was talking, eating quite a bit, and generally doing astonishingly well.
The next day, his pain really got to him. Travis didn't speak from Friday to Monday. On Saturday and Sunday, he hardly ate a thing, resulting in lots of vomiting (from medicine on an empty stomach). Travis slept a bunch during this rough period.
He turned a corner on Tuesday and has been improving steadily ever since. His ENT ordered that Travis needs to limit his activity (due to a bleeding risk), so we've been housebound and pretty stircrazy.
Today, we celebrated his improvement-- and one week down-- with a little stroll around North Lake. The fresh air felt incredible.
