Happy Thing #1
Our friend Laurel came to visit for the weekend. She arrived on Thursday night and stayed with us through Sunday afternoon.
Laurel and I became friends junior year in high school. Scott met Laurel at the same time he met me: we had three classes together at BYU during winter semester of 2001. So we have a lot of great memories together.
This weekend was a blast! We laughed, talked, went out for sushi with our dear friend Richelle, cracked up during (what had to be) the worst ever film interpretation of Wuthering Heights, cracked up during MST3K, played, worked out, ate ice cream, and lounged. The kids adore Laurel. Travis keeps asking when she'll be back. Hopefully soon. Thanks again for coming! Have a fabulous time in London, Ms. Teuscher!

Today, Scott and I celebrate nine years of marriage. Nine! I'm so grateful to have my best friend by my side through life. I just love him.

Since our anniversary falls mid-week, we opted to celebrate this upcoming Saturday. We'll get a couple's massage then go out to dinner. I can't wait!
