Moving up!

On Wednesday, Travis graduated from Kindergarten! The kids had an adorable performance, then walked the stage to get their diplomas.

 

Even with the midweek pomp & circumstance, both boys actually finished school today. They held their annual moving up ceremony, where each class stepped up to the next grade level.

After saying our goodbyes, we headed to Subway and FroGo for a celebratory lunch...

...and then joined some friends at Starpointe.

Hurray for summer!

A very happy unbirthday

Mrs. Rilley's class has been celebrating summer birthdays before school ends. On Monday, Travis had his turn!

The class sang to him, then all of the kids told Travis something they like about him. We ended with cookies and lemonade. What a fun unbirthday!

Fill 'er up

Our pool water needed to be drained this weekend, and the kids had a great time helping to fill it up again.

Libby made a huge stride in swimming lessons today-- she can now swim all by herself while looking in the water! Way to go, Libby Jean!

Open house

For the past several months, Scott has been setting up Winco's newest distribution center. The planning began in Boise, and he's been implementing those plans in Phoenix since February.

On Sunday, they held an open house. What a fun opportunity to check out Daddy's work!

Two teeth down

Travis lost his second tooth on Saturday! Because the other tooth was extracted (due to a fractured root), this was really his first experience with a loose tooth. Travis worked fast-- he had that baby out within an hour of noticing that it was wiggly!

Now, he keeps looking at his new smile in the mirror and making up songs about the Tooth Fairy ("save up all your money, and then you can buy some Legos!"). Oh, Travis... you are one cute boy.
